  This lovely house had wonderful views and was in the heart of nature. The room was comfortable and Valeria really looked after us, bringing tea and home made biscuits and cakes to enjoy on the lawn, and providing lots of advice on walks and places of interest in the local area. The breakfast was large and delicious.

  The only think I can say here is that the kitchen for the use of guests lacked a few items - but this was only a small drawback.

  “The best experience we could have imagined at piana de castiglioni”

  My partner and I drove straight to The farm from Venice airport after 24 hours travellling from Australia. We were overwhelmed by the beauty of the place, the accommodation, the view is incredible over the mountains and valleys. Our host Valeria is a wonderful woman, she could not have done more for us. Italy is all about family and we honestly felt that Valeria treated us like family, warm and generous. It was a perfect introduction for us to this beautiful part of Italy. The house is clean and comfortable, we had everything we needed and a bonus spectacular location. We cannot recommend this place highly enough. We didn’t want to leave.

  The owner could not have been more hospitable. She was able to provide us with information about the area, restaurants, sights, etc. The views are spectacular. I couldn’t get enough of them. The room was comfortable and clean. Breakfast was provided.

  Gastvrouw Valeria verwent je graag en biedt duidelijke informatie over mogelijke uitstappen. Heerlijk en uitgebreid ontbijt met plaatselijke specialiteiten en zelfbereide lekkernijen. Rustige omgeving met een prachtig uitzicht midden in de natuur. Gezellig ingerichte kamers waarin alles aanwezig is wat je nodig hebt. Pluspunt is dat je gebruik kan maken van de prachtige tuin en een gemeenschappelijke keuken met alles erop en eraan. Dorpje in de nabijheid met alle nodige faciliteiten. Ideaal om mooie wandelroutes te verkennen.

  “A wonderful stay”

  A quiet oasis tucked away, looking out over green hills and small villages, an ever changing dramatic sky. The hosts were charming and helpful; always ready to help. Old medieval towns, castles and monuments to be visited as well as hiking trails at the door step. The rooms were a good size and the beds good.

  The road leading up to the stay is somewhat rugged and curvy adding to the excitement of reaching the beautiful house.
