  Vi blev taget rigtig godt imod af personalet, som dagligt var rigtig søde og hjælpsomme. Selve stedet er smukt og værelserne er hyggelige og rummelige.

  Det var lidt ærgerligt, at man kun kunne købe fire-retters menu til aftensmad i restauranten. Nogle dage ville det have været dejligt med en enkel ret hjemme, i stedet for at skulle tage ud på restauranter i nærområdet efter en lang dag. Og så er værelserne meget lydte, så det er godt at have et par ørepropper med, just in case :-)

  Sunset at this Relais was breathtaking. The tuscan decor was incredibly beautiful and warm. And the food was second to none. It’s just one of those places for which I am going to have to make time to go back very soon!

  I highly recommend a stroll through the gardens just before sunset!

  “Cadre enchanteur, halte très reposante à quelques km de Florence et son agitation touristique. Bel environnement (super vue de la terrasse du restaurant), piscine agréable et grande. Personnel très agréable. Belle demeure qui a sû garder son charme ”

  Staff tried very hard to please. Our room wreaked of cigarettes. They tried very hard to remove the smell, but, not successfully. The chef and his superb meal were the highlight of our stay.

  Other than the smell of cigarettes, the floors were filthy. The socks that I wore to keep from touching the floor had to be thrown away at the end of our stay. Outdoor lighting was very inadequate. We had to feel our way to our room each evening. I know that mosquitoes are part of country living, but if we hadn't had to sleep with the doors open because of the cigarette smell, we may have not been eaten up so badly.

  Don't expect hotel quality. This is rustic, and I'm sure the rooms inside the villa are fine. We just probably got the worst one. Know exactly what room you are getting.
