“Notre séjour à Certaldo a été moyen dans l'ensemble. C'est un village médiéval situé idéalement au cœur de la Toscane qui permet de rayonner sur toute la région. A faire plutôt au printemps pour les couleurs de l'arrière pays.”
7.7 Ver opinion completa Prix. Emplacement privilégié. Très belle cité médiévale. Wifi internet.Propriétaire accueillante et serviable. Facilité de réservation. Appartement bruyant (des étudiants qui claquent les portes ou le chauffe eau que l'on entend fonctionner toute la nuit). Pas vraiment du repos comme espéré. Manque des ustensiles de cuisine, un micro ondes et un lave vaisselle. La disposition de l’appartement (en long) n'est pas très pratique pour 5 personnes. Literie dure pour 1 lit en particulier. Dans l'ensemble, je ne conseillerai pas cet appartement à un ami. 
Nous avons eu du mal à trouver l'appartement le premier jour. Il faut arriver à Certaldo alto par le nord sur la crète de la colline. Très bon restaurant à coté Puntos asignados

“The best part of our 2 week Italy vacation.”
9.6 Ver opinion completa Vacanze immediately made us welcome. She made sure she explained every part and function of the apartment, then took us out on the street to point out her favorite places to eat, they were good. The site was fantastic, in the old fortified portion of the town. We had great views of the fields and groves from our apartment. There were several eating establishments within walking distance. The closest bar was always ready with an expresso, or gelato, a full meal or even a pizza when we drug in at barbaricly early times wanting something to eat. There are three museum/historic sites just down the street that are well worth the visit. Certaldo 1731 is a great place to relax or to use as a starting point for exploring Tuscany. Walking around Certaldo Alto or Certaldo is no problem and there are many excellent shops for your eating and food preparation needs. There trails as well as a cable car to make the trips up and down the hill easier Parking was not problem. Although fully furnished and equipped, I would have liked to have had an easy chair to relax in. If driving, finding the way up to Certaldo 1731 the first time can be a challenge. Make sure your GPS is up to date. I was overly cofident that I could find it on my own. Take advantage of the tower. We spent two evenings of our 6 picnicing at the top the tower, watching the sunset, the fog form in the folds in the hills on the opposite side of the valley and the changing colors of light on the entire landscape. Enjoy the excellent train service to Florence and Siena. The station is only about a half mile walk and you arrive in about the same time; refreshed, no traffic or parking worries, and probably more economical than driving. Puntos asignados

“The setting of Certaldo Alto is a great spot for soaking in the culture of Tuscany. It was a medieval town and still has an air of antiquity about it. Certaldo 1731, was perfectly situated, just a few steps from wine bar and less than 3 minutes' wal”
8 Ver opinion completa The view from our room, the convenience to restaurants and attractions, the cleanliness of the room. We had a full kitchen but didn't really use it. The wifi signal was a little weak, but adequate. We had to climb a flight of stairs with our luggage, but nothing too difficult. I believe they have a room on the ground floor, but I'd check if you have mobility issues. Try out the pizza at Da Messer Boccaccio - it was fantastic. Cap off the night at enoteca just across the street. The nearby restaurant has breathtaking views from the patio and great food. The owner (Ms. Jane) speaks some English, but if you know a bit of Italian you'll probably have an easier time communicating. Also, don't try to walk from the train station to the guesthouse on foot, if you have bags - you'll have a hard time. Either arrange for a car/taxi or use the funiculare (small train that takes you up the hill.) Once you've left your bags, getting around is easy, but be aware there are some fairly steep hills to climb. Puntos asignados

“Bel appartement dans beau village médiéval”
8.2 Ver opinion completa Accueil des propriétaires, nous avons reçu un cadeau de départ (huile d'olive et 1 btle de Chianti!, vue et emplacement exceptionnels, logement très propre, confortable, bonne literie, parking, calme, 10 mn à pieds de la gare wifi ne fonctionnait pas, télé ne fonctionnait pas, équipement de la cuisine mériterait quelques ajouts ( économe, plats à four, couverts etc..) Belle fête du village qui dure 5 jours avec spectacles de rue, artisanat d'art, faire attention aux dates car il est difficile de circuler en voiture à ces dates là ( juillet) et le parking n'est pas dispo car il se trouve dans la cour du palais. Ne pas hésiter à prendre le train pour aller visiter Florence cela évitera les embouteillage et la recherche de parking; n'oubliez pas d'aller visiter San Gemignano Puntos asignados

“Un acceuil extraordinaire”
10 Ver opinion completa L'appartement est situé dans un palais lui même au coeur d' un suberbe petit village médiéval perché et positionné idéalement entre toutes les curiosités de la toscane. Accès au village des véhicules réglementes, parking privé dans la cour du palais, funiculaire pour descendre dans la nouvelle ville, terrasse commune au sommet d'une tour du palais avec vue à 360 degrés sur la Toscane. Appartement vaste très propre, tout confort Aucun L'accueil par la propriétaire est fantastique, tout les plans nécessaire pour la toscane sont disponible en arrivant dans l'appartement ainsi que 2 bouteilles de vin de bienvenue ! La propriétaire a même invité l'ensemble des occupants des différents appartements dans un restaurant gargantuesque où nous avons passé un moment inoubliable ! Puntos asignados

“Glorious surroundings, absolutely fabulous welcome. Just amazing.”
9.7 Ver opinion completa The owner picked us up from the train station, his wife is lovely, a real character. She introduced us to the townsfolk and we couldn't have been made more welcome, in too many ways to say here. I am a single parent travelling with my teenage sons and they made us feel like we had found a second home - everywhere you look is beuaty and you are surrounded by warm, lovely people. Magnifico! None. The Palace is the most beautiful place I've ever been - really. Amazing. The funiculor is exquisite - obviously I can't praise this place highly enough. Puntos asignados

Si quieres disfrutar de la Toscana, pero relajarte a partir de cierta hora de la tarde, cenar y disfrutar de un lugar fuera de este mundo, casi como si estuvieses ne la Edad Media, ... “Beautyfull landscape and architecture, we were treated like king and queen, so close to transportation yet so far from tourist joint, this place was more than just a one night stand! ”
9.7 Ver opinion completa Appartment is so comfortable and clean, people are so nice, We finally found one: driving indications could have been better. Reserve early and get an appartment here you will remember all your life. Stay several days and take the train to Firenze or Sienna (leave the car there, it is so easy with the train) and don't forget Sangimigiano! ... so much to see in Toscany! Start with Certaldo Alto!
