“Bon accueil et séjour très agréable”

Les propriétaires et les différentes personnes chargées de l'accueil sont charmants et attentifs. L'environnement et la vue sont splendides. Après une journée à Firenza la piscine et le bain hydromassant sont idéals. le petit déjeuner excellent et copieux. La bonne idée: une belle terrasse ombragée avec un barbecue à disposition.

La pièce principale de l'appartement est un peu sombre (nord) et il manque quelques ustensiles eseentiels pour faire la cuisine (couvercles de casserole adaptés, épluche légumes...).

Ne manquez pas le petit déjeuner et investissez les espaces détentes (piscine, foot, tennis de table).

“Group celebration with all ages (toddlers, teenagers, adults) We all loved the space, facilities and view. ”

It is a family run business and you can tell they take great care in everything. Pool cleaned daily. Home made cakes on arrival. Happy to help with requests. Good facilities for all ages (pool, hottub, playground, football, rooms and lots of chairs); size of apartments; view; everything worked; easy to get to many places for a day out;

We were worried about it being on the main road but it wasn't a problem. The gates are secure and its not a busy road.

We organised wine tasting with dinner which was good and the owners cooked our anniversary dinner - so much food that we were eating it for 2 days after. Good to have a bit of Italian but you can get buy with the help of googletranslate.

“Great location for a Family Reunion/Vacation. There were 17 of us (10 adults & 7 children ages 11 to 17) that spent 9 glorious days at Foiano della Chiana 1890. Beautiful gardens, spacious apartments, lots of activities for children (pool, table ten”

Owners were very accomodating and fun to connect with. The owners and staff provided delicious dinners which we enjoyed outside ovrlooking breatiful Tuscan scenery. Very quiet so we all could relax and unwind.

Not really a negative, but it would be helpful to have the instuctions for the washing machine in English and other languages. We weren't sure of the settings.

After seeing the tourist hill towns and Florence, allow time to connect with the locals in the small, non-touridt towns, to appreciate their way of life. We set up 2 dinners - one was a traditional Italian Sunday Dinner and the other was a Pizza, Foccacia and Tiramasu dinner. Kids had a lesson on Pasta making and pizza making which they treasured. Learn a little bit of Italian before you go to be able to communicate with the staff or have an app that translates.

“An Italian Experience! Great location for a Ramily Reunion or family vacation! There were 17 of us, 10 adults and 7 children (ages 11 to 17) who spent 9 glorious days at Foiano della Chiana 1890. We can't wait to go back!”

Spacious accomodations, gracious owners and staff,and beautiful grounds. Centrally located to Florence and the Hill Towns. The pool, table tennis and a soccer field were great activities for the for the kids.

Not a negative, but it would be helpful- have the washing machine instructions in a variety of languages. We thought we broke the machine, but just didn't have it on the spin cycle.

Be sure to experience a delicious meal by the staff. We had a traditional Italian one night and a Pizza & Foccacia dinner another night! Delicious and abundant. Kids learned how to make fresh pasta and pizza dough - a hit! Learn some Itailian to enhance the experience, or at least have a translator app available! Visit the less tourist towns as well.

Breakfast was bad quality bought in cheap markets. Ownwers are 100 years old, and they were were pleasent, but in limits of theyre ages. House is near the road. In village is nothing to buy, nowhere to eat, nothing to do!

If you can choose anything else , than do not choose that.

“A recommander!!! Nous y avons passé 11 jours...”

Facilité d'accès. Propriétaires très sympathiques et disponibles. Appartements spacieux et propres. Excellent petit déjeûner avec notamment des produits du jardin. Piscine et jacuzzi nettoyé tous les jours.

Air conditionné payant alors que dans l'annonce c'est compris dans le prix.

Nous avons passé d'agréables vacances. Les propriétaires ne parlent qu'italien mais ils font tout pour communiquer avec vous, même si vous comprenez à peine l'italien. Ils nous ont conseillé une fête de village, des endroits à visiter. S'il nous manquait du matériel de cuisine, il suffisait de demander et ils nous le procuraient. N'hésitez pas à demander leur huile d'olive, elle est délicieuse. Rien avoir avec celle vendue en supermarché ;-) Bref je recommande sans problème cet endroit.

“A gorgeous setting for relaxing and sightseeing”

Well located for easy access to key sights while offering a quiet and contained environment for lovely breakfasts on an outdoor terrace, lazy afternoons by the pool and jacuzzi, or quiet evenings. Very welcoming to our dog who had lots of outdoor space.

More information about local attractions (e.g. olive oil, vineyards, etc.) would have been welcome.

Be prepared to pay with cash. There is no on-site credit card capacity the nearby house where we went to pay didn't end up working.

Sehr schönes Restaurant kurz vor Foiano della China ist das Restaurant L'Odola. Sehr leckeres Essen, frische selbstgemachte Pasta, liebevolle Deko, unbedingt reservieren.

“Ideal, Relaxing Villa.. Perfect for a Family Reunion”

Villa and rooms were much better than depicted in website. Had welcome wine and bakery items for us which was very nice. We had booked entire villa so were able to cook in community kitchen and eat outside watching beautiful countryside every meal. Each room had character and was very spacious. Air conditioning worked well. Wifi was great. Pool and hot tub were used daily after a day of touring the little towns.

The elderly owners, while very nice, only spoke Italian. They tried to charge us for a plumber called out during our stay. Also, they kept checking our air conditioning consumption and telling us it was too high when our negotiated price was all-inclusive.

I suggest to post better pictures of the beautiful villa and of the individual rooms, as it truly does not give it justice. Also, the group that arrived from the north (Florence) had little problems finding the villa, but the two group that arrived from the south (Rome) had difficulty, as there is a B&B with the same name in town, so better driving instructions would be helpful.

“An Absolute Pleasure”

Staying here for six nights was the highlight of our trip. Gorgeous grounds/view and pool, delicious breakfast, comfortable beds, room darkening shutters in all rooms that kept it cool, tasteful decorations. When we didn't have something for the kitchen, the proprietors were quick to supply it. They even came up with a birthday "cake" for our daughter's 6th birthday! Friendly, easy going feel to the place, but over all just beautiful and relaxing. 10-30 min drive from lots of different pretty towns with good eating/wineries. A terrific spot.

The internet was a little spotty. One caretaker speaks fluent English; the others do not, but we found we were able to communicate okay without it.

We loved going on a tour of the winery just right down the street. Off the beaten path with delicious wines.

“Wonderful time. Antoinetta (sp?), Barbara, Alisandro, and everyone else made us feel at home. The villa is beautiful and situated in a classic Tuscan setting. The apartment was spacious, well-equipped, and very comfortable.”

The owners, the location, the setting, spaciousness, value. It's in a good location for travel to most Tuscan tourist destinations.

The family has limited English-speaking ability, but good humor and a bit of effort made this a non-issue. (Antoinetta gave me Italian lessons.) The villa is located next to a busy road, so there is some noise, but we slept well with the windows open. The villa is a bit hard to find.

Nastanitev in okolica v živo še lepša kot v predstavitvi. Iskreno priporočamo vsem, ki želijo preživeti enkraten dopust v Toskani!

Ni negativno, le škoda ker lastniki ne znajo angleško, sta pa izredno prijazna.

Obvezno poskusiti vino iz Pitignana in raziskovati bližnjo okolico - Lucingano, Monte San Savino in ostala manjša zgodovinska mesteca. Mi smo si pomagali samo z zemljevidom in smo našli vse, kar smo iskali. Če bomo lahko, bomo gotovo še šli. Je pa dobro znati kaj italijanskih besed.

“Très belle propriété, appartements confortables et spacieux. Les propriétaires sont charmants.”

Position géographique idéale pour rayonner dans toute la Toscane. Piscine très agréable.

Accessoires de cuisine réduits au strict minimum. les proprietaires ne parlent pas anglais.

Quiet

Room was gloomy, cramped living area. Poor kitchen equipment.

One of the hosts at least should be able to speak a little English - not a word in this case! And the so called breakfast was very poor.

“Un bon séjour en Toscane.”

Très belle demeure conforme à la description, système de réservation fiable (Agriturismo) Les appartements (pour nous le Medici) sont indépendants spacieux et calmes, le coin piscine est agréable.

Il faudrait ponctuellement la présence d'une personne parlant Anglais. Les propriétaires sont très sympathiques mais parlent uniquement Italien. Ceci dit on arrive tout de même à se faire comprendre ;-) Le wifi est intermittent, je crois que le serveur est éteint le soir, peut-être enfin l'occasion de se déconnecter complètement pendant les vacances?

Ce gîte est bien situé comme base de départ pour parcourir la région.

“Uniek onderkomen / unique holiday destination”

Ruime vertrekken, heel schoon, zeer privé gelegen, mooie tuin, privé parkeerplaatsen. Goed gelegen t.o.v. van de meeste steden in Toscanen. Very spacy rooms, very clean, lots of privacy, beautiful garden, private parking. Tuscane cities are easily accessible.

Het huis ligt net te ver uit het dorp om even brood te gaan halen.

Het pand heeft een lange geschiedenis, de eigenaren kunnen daar veel van vertellen, spreken voornamelijk Italiaans. Wij zouden het pand zeker aan onze relaties aanbevelen, zeker in het voor- of naseizoen. Wij waren er eind september en hadden het hele pand voor ons alleen. Het zwembad is dan wel heel koud. The house has a long history. The owners can tell you alot about it, they speak only Italian. We would certainly reccomend this house to our relations, especially before or after the season. We visited at the end of September and had the house for ourselves.

Comentario del propietario Grazie ai signore Vasbinder, gentilissimi signori olandesi che salutiamo ed aspettiamo di nuovo in toscana. Solo una piccola precisazione la Villa si trova a circa 800 metri dal paese di Pozzo della Chiana, dove si trovano una macelleria, un negozio
